NCFTA Contracts Siren to Accelerate Investigations with Enhanced Machine Learning and Data Analytics

Siren Transforms Investigation Workflow, Automating Case Management, Augmenting Lead Data and Linking to Past Patterns

GALWAY, Ireland, October 21st 2024Siren, the all-in-one investigation company, is proud to announce that the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) will be formally introduced as a customer at this year’s International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Boston. This collaboration marks a pivotal evolution in cyber threat investigations and information sharing between the private sector and law enforcement.

The NCFTA, founded in 2002, provides a trusted, neutral forum for sharing, identifying and disrupting the most urgent cyber-related threats. The NCFTA, a non-profit, creates an essential environment for responsible collaboration, enabling collective defense against cybercrime.

How Siren Transforms Operations

Siren will integrate directly with NCFTA processes, automating  the extraction of critical indicators.  This key information is instantly accessible to managers, allowing them to efficiently assess incoming cases and determine if similar threats have been previously investigated. Utilizing Siren’s software and automation, NCFTA will more effectively be able to query appropriate internal and external data sources to gather further intelligence.

Once assigned, analysts will be able to dive deeper into investigations using the Siren platform, quickly filtering relevant data and uncovering key connections.

As part of the growing Siren customer base, the NCFTA’s engagement underscores Siren’s commitment to driving innovation in cybersecurity and investigative intelligence. By partnering with Siren, the NCFTA commits to getting results more quickly and efficiently to build a stronger, collaborative defense against emerging cyber threats.

Matt LaVigna, CEO of National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) commented: “As the volume and complexity of cyber threats continue to rise, it’s critical that we have the most advanced tools to streamline investigations and communicate in real-time with our members. Siren will allow us to automate tedious manual work and enable our talented staff to connect data across cases much quicker and uncover patterns that we may have otherwise missed.”

John Randles, CEO of Siren, added:  “We’re very excited at Siren to support the NCFTA with their mission. Our technology is an excellent fit for Matt Livigna and his team and will enable his workforce to do so much more.”
